What is the name and homepage of your gluten-free blog?

Gluten Free Sharing

Why do you blog gluten-free?

I blog gluten free because it's truly a type of lifestyle. It's important for people who live gluten free to connect with others who share this type of diet. Knowing there's a large support group is key & finding amazing, healthy alternatives to every type of food or product will change your life!

What is the focus of your gluten-free blog?

The Gluten Free Sharing blog is intended as a place to share updates on gluten free living. The goal is to keep everyone updated as you live your best life, gluten free!

How long have you been blogging gluten-free?

I've been blogging gluten free since October 2010.

What's the best part of being a gluten-free blogger?

I get most excited when I find new gluten free products, find great deals on gluten free items, modify a recipe to be gluten free, review gluten free products, and find ways to live a gluten free lifestyle simply, easily, and on a budget.

What's the hardest part of being a gluten-free blogger?

The hardest part about blogging gluten free is finding the time in my busy schedule to sit down and write. However, when I do finally take some time to do so, I feel empowered about sharing my experiences as a gluten free foodie. I get excited when I can take something I've used or learned myself and share it with the gluten free consumer.

Lessons Learned

  • I've learned that when cooking or baking gluten free, trial and error is key. When you substitute a gluten free product into a recipe, the substitutions are not always one to one. However, when you find the perfect quantity, texture, or taste, the new recipe can be truly unbelievable!
