Use a spatula to scrape the chocolate mocha frosting into a one quart plastic bag. This is your homemade pastry piping bag. Press the frosting down into the bag while twisting the bag. This forces the frosting down into the bag. Nip about 1/4 inch from the corner of the bag. You are ready to frost the cake.
Why not just spread the frosting on the cake with a knife or spatula? When you pipe the frosting on instead of spreading it, you prevent pulling on the surface of the cake and getting chunks of cake in your frosting. Piping the frosting on the cake is really much faster and easier than spreading frosting.
