Making your own homemade barbecue sauce is fast and easy. Commercial BBQ sauces are common sources of hidden gluten. This recipe makes a thick all purpose sauce, not too sweet or too hot but a sauce that everyone should enjoy. Use it on grilled chicken, ribs, pulled pork, burgers or brats. It is also a good dipping sauce for gluten free chicken tenders.

Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup gluten free ketchup
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup pineapple juice
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup GF Worchestershire sauce (Lea and Perrins is GF)
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 medium chopped onion
- 1/4 teaspoon celery powder (not salt)
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
Preparation:
Combine all ingredients in a heavy, medium sized sauce pan. Bring to a boil and simmer on low for about 10 minutes. Cool and store in the refrigerator.
