This is my favorite on-the-go gluten free breakfast. Put a scoop of your favorite gluten free protein powder, milk or dairy free milk substitute and 1/2 cup of fruit in a blender and in about 5 seconds you have a high protein breakfast. You start your day off with a good serving of protein and a serving of fresh fruit. There is no reason to skip breakfast when you can make a smoothie.

2. Shirred Eggs

Here's a fast and easy gluten free breakfast recipe from Diana Rattray, About.com Guide to Southern Cooking. Shirred eggs are baked in custard cups with cheese and only take about 10 minutes to make. This recipe is ideal for a fast, protein-rich gluten free breakfast.
