Like just about everyone out there, I've been super busy lately and needed to come up with a very fast and easy breakfast idea, one that packs extreme nutritional value, one made with easy-to-find ingredients and one that I can make in about two minutes tops. And, one that doesn't call for refined sugars and contains zero genetically modified ingredients.
What I came up with is a high protein, moderately low carb smoothie recipe made with Greek yogurt, organic fresh ground flax, organic frozen strawberries, a touch of vanilla, stevia and water. These ingredients make a very thick, rich breakfast smoothie that's big on flavor.
I've been enjoying my extreme breakfast smoothie recipe since mid-spring and it's really been working for me. It energizes and sustains me all morning long and it's so fast and easy that even children, old enough to operate the family blender can swirl this recipe up for breakfast or an afternoon snack.
