Gluten-Free Honey Pecan Tart
Dean Lavornia, a talented Pastry Chef and Associate Professor at the International Baking and Pastry Institute at Johnson and Wales University in Providence, RI, developed this fabulous and versatile gluten-free recipe for Honey Pecan Tart with Gingerbread Crust, including an original gluten-free flour blend, used to make the gingerbread crust.
Chef Lavornia suggests using this recipe to make, not only gluten-free Honey Pecan Tart with Gingerbread Crust- which he calls his "favorite Thanksgiving dessert"- but also to make gluten-free graham crackers, gingerbread cookies and gluten-free gingerbread houses for the coming holidays.
