Gluten-Free Seafood Fritters with Mango Dipping Sauce

Sunday May 3, 2009

Fritters are small, deep-fried balls that can be prepared with sweet or savory ingredients. Gluten-free fritters are easy to make and fun to eat.

My family loves fritters and this recipe for Gluten-Free Seafood Fritters with Mango Dipping Sauce is one of our favorites. I used fresh lump crabmeat in this recipe, but you can use any fresh, unprocessed seafood- shrimp and clams make delicious fritters too. If you can find conch meat, conch fritters are phenomenal! Imitation crabmeat is frequently processed with gluten, so avoid using it in this recipe.

The mango dipping sauce is delicious and very easy to prepare in a food processor.
